Why cold-pressed high-oleic oil?
Cold-pressed high-oleic oil stands out for its high content of oleic acid, a monounsaturated fat from the Omega-9 family. Our sunflower oil reaches 87% monounsaturated fat — more than olive oil. Mechanical pressing, cold (below 30°C), without refining or solvents, preserves the natural vitamin E from the seeds, their aroma and composition. Oleic acid is stable against oxidation, so the oil withstands heat better and stays fresh for longer than oils rich in Omega-6.
In our online shop you'll find high-oleic oil classic, in 500 ml, as well as naturally flavoured varieties — basil, chilli, rosemary, thyme, oregano, lemongrass and herbes de Provence. Pressed monthly, in small batches
We don't store oil, but seed — dehulled and pressed just before bottling. We press monthly, in small quantities, so every bottle reaches you fresh. The oil has a shelf life of 12 months from pressing, and lab analyses of the oil are carried out periodically and published.
